So Many Thanks and Praises

Everything has a beginning and end, even our earth and sun.

No such thing as life without death, least not in this world.

I'm not saying we're going to revisit How-It-Is-101 here.

What I'm saying is that for whatever time we're together, no matter how long or short, I blaze like the sun when we hold hands. I spin like the earth when you touch me under my shirt. I am the Wolf King running through the dark forest to see you. I am the ocean calming when you breathe on my ear.

Together, we throw blue stars into the sky when we speak with our eyes.

Everything has a beginning and end, yeah. Thanks and praises that we are just beginning together.

Gorgeous.
I just realized that so many of your love letters compare man and woman to planetary aspects, weather, natural disasters. I think that's what makes them so powerful. You can feel the ground tremble.
God, I love you.

Ed, my husband just read that over my shoulder. He said nothing, but squeezed my shoulder for a long time. I think that says it all. Thank you....

Yes, you manage to touch on something universal that makes us all vibrate and return each day for more ...

nice. i like the reference to the wolf king and the ocean calming...and the juxtaposition of the two back to back....

hope you are having a great weekend!

You know what I like? How you see women for the all encompassing universal creatures we are.

Ha! How's that?

I do love this one, though, personal bias aside.

take two:
@lady fi, thank u:)
@lucy, that is a lovely moment, and i am so grateful you shared it here. about the most fabulous thumbs up i could get.
@alexandra, love that verb, vibrate. something alive in vibrations. my psychic friend channels through vibrations. we all pick up people's energy thru vibrations.
@brain miller, yeah, i went geek here, two meathors and two similies, all sandwiched, tho i'm not sure which is which. i keep forgetting that!
@the empress, i'm attempting to keep my focus on that universal creature, that universal love. once in a while i get specific with someone in my life or past, but i'm enjoying writing in the universal direction.

"I spin like the earth when you touch me under my shirt." So sensitive, Ed. Love it! You knew that would be my favorite I bet?

Such beautiful words to express this sentiment. I love"Together, we throw blue stars into the sky when we speak with our eyes." Now that's a sigh-evoker.

I like the fact you end with saying you are glad you are both just beginning :) Great ending (as always)...lovely words!

@tori, i almost called it the wolf king, but that would have undid the power of that little character, felt like.
@andrea, i like the concept of primal. might have to work on something else using that. and now that i've set my mind to it, it might never come. these letters are so elusive for me sometimes.
@xcrush, you funny:)
@lori, thanks!
@hilary, how sweet!
@jingle, thanks for visiting.
@anjuli, thanks for the sugar!
