Never Ever

Here's Marlee, 2, sitting in the captain's seat aboard the Baja after the sun set yesterday. I like the lines of the boat, in addition to the color. When you're watching the light and attempting to shoot the day's last light for its softness on a subject, but arrive at the beach late so that the sun drops out of sight less than a minute after feeding coins into the parking meter, there's nothing to do but gasp something to the effect of "I'll never get anything now!"

Nice shot. Are you always running late? You mentioned you were late to a game/tournament the other day and now this. Tsk Tsk

Such a pretty shot. And subtle capture of the season too, with the decorations on the boat behind her. Cute photo.

Your photo makes me think of the Jetsons cartoon. The color, the lines, and the shapes look surreally (such a word?) futuristic, as presented in the Jetsons cartoon. :-)

How did I miss this?!!!

I disagree; I think you captured some magical lighting....that sky is dreamy and all the gadgets above Marlee's head look space-ship-y....

Altogether, it's a photo that could prompt thousands of words!

I think it's magical. The color and composition...Willy Wonka gone Tiffany's. Wierd like that. And wonderful. I wanted to sit on the Santa Barbara beach last weekend with a bottle of wine and a camera. Well hell...if the cheap ass wine opener I bought didn't break off in the cork. I walked to the store and asked for assistance. Finally got the thing out...ran down to the beach with my camera bag slamming into my hip and the wine sloshing. Sometimes the universe just ain't in the mood for a portrait. I clicked off a few though, just in time.
