Champs

I've been shooting a lot of prep sports lately, especially playoffs. I took this one Friday, after the Mustangs won the game and the league title. When I snapped the shot, the game clock had just expired and the team was gathering to shake hands at midfield with the other team.
After not finding work for so long, I'm very grateful for the work I'm doing. And when I can get a good image, it's so damn fun.
Hope you have a great week.

That is a great shot. It must give you such a thrill to get action shots that have the perfect amount of perspective/depth. Nice one!

I am so happy that you are working. I just feel the happiness for you, and relief.

My husband was out of work for a year, and I cannot tell you the depth of despair and fear he felt.

It was a very sad, tough year, I cannot even bring it up now without a lump in my throat.

He is grateful to be working.

And I can feel how grateful you are, too.

And your photos are so full of capturing a moment, I can only think that if you were to compile them in a book of teenagers and sports, that I'd buy it.
I love to see the real feeling portrayed here: where the kids feel nothing but what is in that very moment.

Gives me chills.

The expression through the face mask is precious, the hand on his back, the warm lighting against green grass. Congrats Ed :)

Nice shot! And you got the best seat in the house, right in the middle of the action.
