would either of these happen to be your nieces? I used to 'kidnap' my nephew and we'd go all over....now he's grown and married. sigh....

looks like a fun time. I mean assignment.... :)

words crafter, haha. no, no one is related to me in the photoz. but if i get desperate, i just might drag them out to a photo shoot.

brian miller, not much of a story, other than me stressing out through most of it. i did manage to take a break and relax at the theater assignment. they were showing the wizard of oz on the big screen so there was plenty of down time.

My kind of assignment. Nothing like watching Wizard of Oz on the big screen. :-)

The first picture angle makes the flip flops look like giant flip flops. Great picture.

I LOVE the abandoned flip flops on the beach with the child playing in the background and the boy mid-air coming out of the slide. Terrific shots! You've got a great eye!

Great photos, Ed. At least summer is still there in your bit of the world - it's gone all autumnal here

dez, i love shooting children. yes, i know that sentence might sounds weird, but once they realize you're just not going away, they tend to forget a camera is even around.

annie, (may i call you annie?) stress is just a part of it. i'm learning that anxiety is a normal part of the creative cycle for me. i don't want it to overwhelm, but in some ways it forces me to focus and get what i need, so that's good. i have no complaints about work these days. yeah, i work hard for crumbs but i have a great job, and hopefully will continue to pick up work.

maybe that's a nature's way to send you a message that you are ready for kids of your own :))

Well, that looks like fun!

Yeah, I'm doing some giant flippin' and floppin' myself these days and venturing into unknownyet enticing waters. EGods, what would some of us do without metaphor???

You added a couple photos! I LOVE the kid coming off the water slide, fantastic shot! And the other little guy's expression-he looks like he's being VERY patient.... wondering if you have other 'assignment' photos around here.....?

Yes! A post from you. My heart was not broken this time. (well, maybe not broken, but you, now, disappointed).
Of course I love the second shot with the boy in all his glory just bursting at the seams with who he is and all that he can do.

Partial to boys, I admit...but they just feel EVERYTHING.

Thanks for this. Cold, bleak, autumn over here already!!

I get like that with the first leaves that fall...

I love all the pictures, especially of the two girls sharing a moment. I think your investment pays-off, it displays your natural talent and your ways with people.

I feel you will share your new nest when you find one and I look forward to it. Do a before and after! :)
